Hi, I’m Staci Noel — a Charlotte senior and personal branding photographer who believes great portraits come from trust, connection, and a little bit of magic.

I’m a high-energy hype woman behind the camera but in my day to day life I mostly enjoy peace and quiet. However, the moment I start directing a session, something switches on — I see light, color, and emotion in real-time, and I get so excited when everything clicks. 

I’m thoughtful, intentional, and a little bit obsessive about details (I pose you from your feet to your fingertips), but I also make the entire process feel fun, relaxed, and natural. 

Most of my seniors arrive nervous — nobody here is a professional model after all! I love being the person who helps you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.

My goal is simple: you trust me, stop overthinking, and let me do all the work.
You don’t have to know how to pose, where to put your hands, or how to “look natural.” That’s my job. I guide every movement, every natural expression — and I promise, you’ll get images you absolutely love.

I primarily photograph seniors because this moment is unlike any other. You’re right on the edge of a new adventure, looking back at everything that shaped you and forward at everything that’s coming next. Who you are right now will never exist again in exactly the same way. I love creating portraits that celebrate this version of you — bold, expressive, and beautifully honest.

Before photography, I had several different creative and corporate lives. I’ve experienced life in the Midwest and on both coasts. I’ve acted, produced, and directed theatre in LA, taught children’s theatre in Illinois, worked in broadcast, event marketing, internet startups, retail, and even a florist shop. I’ve always straddled the line between structure and creativity, heart and skill. Photography became the place where all those pieces clicked. I spent almost three years studying and practicing lighting, color, posing, and storytelling before taking my first client. I’ve been in business now for more than 13 years.

I’m a mom of two teens - one a college freshman at NC State (Go Pack!) and the other a sophomore at Hickory Ridge HS (Go Bulls!). I’m married to someone I went to high school with but we never dated back then, and I’m a lifelong collector of a variety of passions. I love reading, baking, kitchen gadgets, self-taught hobbies, and our full house of our two dogs and three cats — including one named Elvis (yes, a girl). 

When it comes to photography, I love light and I love color and I love how they interact with each other. Most of all, I love capturing people at pivotal moments - creating lasting memories of who they are with intention, artistry, and genuine care.
