Your senior portraits should feel easy, comfortable, and completely custom to you and that starts with planning. I guide you through every part of the process so you never have to guess, overthink, or figure anything out alone. From the moment you book, we work together to design a session that reflects your personality, your confidence, and the way you want to look back on this moment in your life.
I help you choose locations that fit your style, build outfits that photograph beautifully, and map out a session flow that feels natural and exciting. Whether you’re drawn to golden fields, urban textures, dramatic studio lighting, or a mix of everything, we plan it intentionally — with your story at the center.
On session day, I pose you from head to toe and guide every movement. You don’t have to know what to do in front of the camera. My job is to help you relax, trust the process, and feel confident every step of the way. I’ll keep you calm, hype you up, walk you through natural movement, and pay attention to every detail so your portraits feel expressive, real, and uniquely yours.
This experience is fully guided — from planning to posing to final images — and it’s designed to show exactly how incredible you already are.

The SNP Process
LET’S GET STARTED
Fill out the contact form and I’ll we'll schedule an initial call to walk through everything you need to know. Once you’re ready, we’ll reserve your date on the calendar. Senior sessions typically book at least 2–3 months in advance, so the sooner we connect, the better.
DESIGN & PLANNING APPOINTMENT
This Zoom meeting takes all the stress out of the process. Together, we’ll plan your locations, outfits, styling, and overall vision. You’ll receive helpful resources so you feel fully prepared and excited for your big day. I’m available for as much help as you need moving forward.
SESSION DAY
Show up feeling confident and ready to have fun — I’ll handle the rest. Get your hair and makeup done by your preferred stylist, or do it yourself with help from my makeup and hair guide. I’ll pose you from head to toe, help you settle into natural movement, and make sure you look and feel your best throughout the entire shoot.
REVEAL & ORDER APPOINTMENT
During your final meeting, you’ll view your images, select your favorites, and choose the products that best fit your home and your style. This is where your portraits come to life as beautiful artwork that celebrates this incredible milestone.
Investment
Your senior portraits are a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I want you to have the freedom to create a session that feels like you. Whether you want something simple and beautiful or something bold, styled, and fully customized, I build a session that reflects your vision and personality.
The session fee covers the time and talent of the photographer, our complete planning and design process, and everything outlined below. This includes your pre-session consult, personalized session design, detailed preparation resources, a fully guided photo shoot, and a custom reveal and ordering appointment.
Session fees are determined by the number of locations, number of outfits, travel time and any location fees.
Products, prints, and digital files are purchased separately so you can choose exactly how you want to enjoy and preserve your images.
Every senior session is crafted around your vision, which means your final investment is personalized as well. Most families fall between $1250–$2300, depending on the heirloom artwork, albums, and digitals they are drawn to. You’ll have complete freedom during your reveal appointment to choose only what you love — no pressure, no surprises — and build a collection that reflects your senior’s personality and your home’s style.

I typically book 2–3 months in advance, especially for peak seasons. The earlier you reach out, the more likely you are to secure the date that works best for you. Booking early also gives us plenty of time to plan your custom senior session.

You can bring as many outfits as you’d like. Some seniors prefer a simple session with 2–3 looks, while others bring their full wardrobe and switch throughout the shoot. During the planning appointment, I help you narrow down outfits that photograph beautifully and match your locations.

Sessions are customized based on your personality and the look you want. Popular options include golden fields, Uptown Charlotte, colorful urban areas, studio backdrops, and natural locations. I’ll guide you to locations that fit your style and photograph with cinematic color and light.

Totally normal — most seniors feel this way at first! I pose you from head to toe and guide every movement so nothing feels awkward or forced. I help you relax, loosen up, and settle into natural expressions. You don’t have to know what to do — you just trust me, and I take care of the rest.

Absolutely. This is your story, and I love incorporating the things that make you unique — instruments, sports gear, pets, books, fashion pieces, or anything that reflects your personality. We’ll discuss options during your planning appointment so it all feels cohesive and intentional.

Most sessions last 1–2 hours depending on locations, outfit changes, and the style you want. More elaborate sessions with multiple locations or studio add-ons take longer, and I’ll guide you through timing during the planning phase. As a rule I generally only book one session per day so that you get all of my focus.

Weather can be unpredictable in Charlotte, so I always keep a backup plan or rain date available. If the forecast looks questionable, we’ll discuss options and adjust as needed — no stress and no last-minute scrambling.

You’ll view your images during a personalized Reveal & Order Appointment, typically 2–3 weeks after your session. This is when you choose your favorites and select your artwork, albums, and digital images.
